Email signup, with consent.
Let visitors ask for news from the business. The Worker submits the signup using a scoped Site credential; consent is stored in the customer register.
Follow the flow
- Enter an email and explicitly opt in to news from the named business.
- The Worker validates a bounded request and uses newsletter:subscribe. The credential never reaches the browser.
- ReAI reuses an existing contact or creates one without overwriting existing customer details.
- New and existing contacts receive the same receipt. New consent may start a configured welcome flow; signup creates no discount.
Consent is not a campaign
This API records a newsletter request. New consent may queue a configured welcome flow; signup creates no discount. The business configures sending and handles consent withdrawal. In this demo, contact post+owner@reai.no to withdraw consent.
Repeat without duplicates
Repeated subscriptions are idempotent. The response does not reveal whether the address was already a customer. The checkbox starts unchecked and consent must be true.
