Blue in size M must exist as one variant, not as blue S plus green M.
Collection filters and variant matching
Show applied filters and result counts. Allow multiple choices within a filter group so, for example, either of two colors can match.

Facet types come from the current catalog. Missing data should not produce a decorative filter with no effect.

Task and expected result
- 01
Choose two colors. Products matching either color should appear.
- 02
In Famme: Softy, brown and L with available variants only must not return Softy Straight Leg.
- 03
Remove one filter chip and check that the remaining choices are preserved.
- 04
Choose two colors in one group: either can match. Size in another group must still match the same variant.
- 05
Remove one applied-filter chip: retain other choices and sorting.
How to investigate value
Observe whether participants find an item meeting every need, not just how many cards they click. For measurement: relevant selections per eligible search/list visitor.
Watch for side effects
Zero results, false variant matches, lost list context and slow filters. More product-page visits are not necessarily better.
This is a proposed investigation, not a measured result. Choose one hypothesis and define the audience before testing.
